The Canton Group is looking for a high performing business development professional to join our expanding team covering the mid-atlantic. What you will do:
  1. Create formal networks with key decision makers and serve as an external evangelist for the organization, uncovering business requirements and opportunities.  
  2. Identify and build prospect lists. Initiate contact and set meetings with prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking events and activities just short of stalking. 
  3. Manage and develop customer and partner relationships for long-term success. 
  4. Meet monthly, quarterly and annual business development performance objectives.
  5. Understand the customers pain and work with Canton Group engineers to present a technical solution.  Create PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations and other business proposal documentation.   
  6. Present solutions to customers via phone, web and face-to-face meetings with both new and existing customers across the Mid-Atlantic region and potentially beyond.  Clearly articulate the benefits of solutions to all levels including “C” level executives.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, hands-on Business Development professional with a staffing or related background. Must be able to meet monthly and quarterly quotas for revenue and pipeline development; have an understanding or desire to learn about web technologies, web applications and software development.
