Day to Day Expectations:
  • Interfacing with customers on support matters
  • Managing proper customer expectations
  • Day to day maintenance and upkeep of existing server fleet
  • Learn and understand new technologies and industry practices
  • Update, test, and support software application systems
  • Work with internal customers to create and deploy solutions for new and existing services
  • Work on maintaining the AWS on custom cloud and client infrastructures
  • Helping to explore new cloud technologies and uses
  • Configure and deploy systems to support new data center expansion
  • Work with support and development teams to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation and actively respond to escalations and alerts
  • Establishing the best practices of DevOps
  • Leading review sessions for productions issues
  • Working on CI/CD pipeline and automating into the upper environment
Required Technical Skills:
  • Expert knowledge in troubleshooting, Operations & Maintenance, Configuration & debugging
  • Strong CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis and Docker
  • Strong knowledge of version control specifically Git – TFS huge plus
  • Expert Knowledge with AWS (EC2) cloud platform – Azure or Google huge plus
  • Working knowledge using Python, PHP and Java
  • Strong automation deployment using CM tool Ansible and/or Chef
  • Any knowledge in Robot framework and Selenium web driver test automation is a huge plus
Required Professional Expertise:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration and DevOps- (windows server admin is a huge plus), and production software development process such as release management, builds, version control, etc.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and teaming skills, organizational abilities and demonstrated multi-tasking abilities
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
